Bat Yam Outline Plan
The landscape appendix for Bat Yam outline plan is currently in preparation. Phase one was already completed including data collection and Analysis.
Bat Yam is blessed with a variety of open spaces, beaches and Promenade and enjoys active street life. The shoreline is the most important asset of the city. In terms of nature, the two most significant sites are the beachfront cliff and a large "urban nature" area at the south-west of the city.
Bat Yam is located in the center of the Tel - Aviv metropolis, covers of 8,167 acres. The city is compact, flat and relatively densely built and currently a house to 130,000 people.
The first phase of work including acquiring knowledge on the various districts, a study of all the open space components, with emphasis on the gardens and parks system, morphological study, a comparison to neighboring cities, and service ranges. Further work is in early consolidation of the second phase including program, vision and objectives.
