Hod Hasharon City Outline Plan
A landscape addendum of the Hod Hasharon Outline plan is based on the city's unique scenic identity - the green structure includes Hayarkon River Park, the streambeds routs and the agriculture plots in and around of the city.
The purpose of the plan is preserving the character of the green areas, by extending and intensifying them and creating strong connections as possible between them and simultaneously intensifying the city center by creating an open and accessible pedestrian space, expanding the boundaries of the open public spaces, strengthening the linkages to the open green spaces, and creating an urban open public space in the confines of the old city and linking Ramata'im road to the green structure.
The chart and regulations give instructions as handling the open spaces, preserving, suspending and purifying the runoff water, strengthening the existing axes, intensifying and preserving the urban nature, and maintaining biodiversity.
