The "Seam" Park
The "Seam" Park was designed out of desire to preserve the unique character of Hod Hasharon, with its rural image and streams flowing through it. The park's vision resulted from the realization that the acceleration of the construction expected to significantly reduce the agricultural areas in the city. The park is located near two schools and will provide the basis and source of ecological edification for children studying in these institutions and residents of the entire city. Such as conservation of nature and landscape values including: Plantations, orchards, and a eucalyptus grove; Maintaining and strengthening the agricultural character of the existing area; Collecting and purification of runoff water within the park; Continuity of the green "S" of the city; Creation of green space beyond the perceived public park.
The park will include walking trails, cycling and jogging, amphitheater, children and toddler's play areas, picnic and barbecue areas, cafes and urban plaza, in order to create a "green lung" connecting the eastern and western parts. By linking the park to both existing and planned neighborhoods; Strengthening roads and connections to Ramatayim Road; Better Eye contact between Ramatayim Road and the park.
