HaMakpetza Garden Tel Aviv

HaMakpetza Garden is located on the historic grounds of the Tel Aviv Country Club and now serves as an open green space for the residents of the “Blu” complex and employees of the adjacent Wix campus. At the heart of the garden stands the original diving board structure, which was selected for preservation and restoration by the Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality.
The garden features entrance plazas with seating and workspaces, a shaded playground area, pergolas, and a large central lawn surrounded by walking paths, a running track, and a biological pond. The pond surrounding the diving board structure alludes to the former swimming pool while also serving as a deterrent to climbing. The entire garden is designed as a series of concentric circles, resembling ripples radiating from the pond and the diving board.
Numerous trees were planted along the lawn edges and paths, complementing the mature trees preserved on-site, which provide a significant climatic contribution and immediate shade upon completion. An additional four dunams to the west and north currently serve as temporary lawns and wooded areas, pending the approval of future plans for the area.
