The Japanese Garden Weizmann Institute

The Japanese Garden Weizmann Institute

About the project

The renovation of the Lopaity Hall and the Japanese Garden were intricately interwoven. The project included a large event plaza, expansive lawns, walking paths, and a cafe opened within the building at the heart of the garden. This unique garden is rich in Japanese-inspired details and imagery, including stonework, an ornamental pond with the gentle sound of flowing water, and characteristic vegetation. The garden serves as a tribute to the scientific collaboration between Japan and Israel in the development of a unique alga.
