Itzhak Wald Park Kfar Saba

Itzhak Wald Park Kfar Saba

About the project

The park’s concept was woven into the urban master plan by the legendary City Engineer, Kolodny, together with Mayor Itzhak Wald. Serving as a vast “green lung” in the heart of the city, the park connects Weizmann Street in the south to Ben-Yehuda Street in the north.
The park exemplifies the firm’s unique expertise in topography, planting schemes, runoff water infiltration and retention, and balanced earthwork management. It offers a wide range of amenities, including ornamental ponds, a petting zoo, one of Israel’s first skateparks, jet fountains, playgrounds, an amphitheater for events, BBQ areas, and expansive lawns.

The skatepark design was led by Avi Luzia.
