ER Green Roof Ichilov

The new Emergency Department building was constructed adjacent to the existing facility, prominently visible from the Weizmann Street entrance. A ramp climbs along the building’s facade, leading to a green roof designed as a terraced amphitheater overlooking Tel Aviv’s urban skyline. The roof serves as a sanctuary for quiet and relaxation, as well as an event space for the wellbeing of patients, visitors, and medical staff. The lower roof level is bounded by seating terraces and plazas designated for the cafeteria, while the central area features lawn terraces, leading to a variety of seating arrangements on the upper level.
