Stone Administration Building Weizmann Institute
Stone Administration Building Weizmann Institute
About the project
An iconic building at the Institute’s entrance, whose renovation transformed the ground-floor roof into a unique succulent garden, featuring Corten steel planters surrounded by a raised pedestal flooring system. The original sloped skylight was replaced with a modern, walkable skylight that offers clear, open views. The former access road was reclaimed as an entrance plaza, complemented by a new ornamental pond at the facade.
Original Architecture by Arieh Elhanani and Nissan Canaan, 1966. Interior Design by Greenberg Architects.
